Sylvie Albert, owner of PAI, has broad experience dealing with government: she was a Board member of the Telecommunications Access Partnership Program, the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, and the Ontario Jobs and Investment Board.

Dr. Albert is also experienced in dealing with community players: she regularly holds strategic planning sessions with community stakeholders in communities across Ontario.

She is the author of a new book entitled Smarten Up, which describes the process of developing a smart community, and has recently finished her doctoral dissertation, on the development of smart communities, with Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Sylvie Albert holds a B.A. in politics, an M.B.A., an economic development certificate from EDAC, an HRP designation from the HRPAO, and in 2003, completed her Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
